Senior Citizens Council of Delhi in association with Confederation of Senior Citizens Association of Delhi participated in Walkathoon at India Gate organised by Help Age India with the support of Ministry of Social and Empowerment Government of India on 01/10/2012 in which more than 4000 senior citizens across Delhi participated. Sh.Mukul Wasnik,Union Minister addressed the senior citizens from India Gate and extended Elder"s Day greetings to all Senior Citizens. Later on, he flagged Walkathon rally towards India Gate with Senior Citizens. Shri J.R. Gupta, Chairperson of the Confederation co-ordinated the walkathon, like past years.
